Another case of absurd reasoning by India Indians (You'all are not the only Indians in this world).

The border problems, India-Pakistan, India-China all occurred because NEHRU fella was too busy romancing Mountbatten's wife in 1947 and neglected the fact, British had never concurred and agreed to a "border line" with China.

When PLA came into power in 1949, Mao offered to settle the issue but NEHRU stared talking of "Brotherly Love". Whatever that was, it led to a shooting war between the two countries.

The LOC is a desolate and barren place , devoid of flat land and vegetation, with below zero temperatures.
The best thing to do , is pay attention to US State Department's suggestion (as well as this author,s); simply mark out the top of all the highest mountain peaks.

Than, using a magnetic compass, designate everything to the South as India and everything to the north of this line as CHINA.

Both countries should agree to a FREE MARKET Zone, one mile behind this new "Border", jointly managed for interaction between local inhabitants, border crossing and military patrols against smugglers, terrorists, religious fanatics etc.

Instead of just endlessly talking for years, put this idea into effect.
Using satellite technology and test it out for 5 (five) years; ti see if it works.
Or needs further modifications.

And, note, this WORLD is sick and tired of hearing of your "stupid border dispute".

It is clearly seen that China is doing hybrid war with India, then why our respected EAM does not talk about it.
Ending a important topic with poetic debate does not solve the problems that we face today.
Why we don't talk about solving border crisis with China?
Why we don't try to get China to make clear demarcated border in the eastern and NE states?

Subhodayam.

"yogasya prathamadvāraṃ vāṅnirodho’parigrahaḥ |
nirāśā ca nirīhā ca nityamekāntaśīlatā"
The first steps to Yoga are control of speech, non-receiving of gifts, entertaining of no expectations, freedom from activity, and always living in a retired place. -Adi Shankara in Vivekachudamani || 367 ||

Today the world celebrates YOGA DAY. A proud feeling for all Indians.

Adi Sankara has very cryptically explained in Vivekachudamani what is and how one should be in order to become a true yogi.

Moderation and appropriateness in every aspect of life is the key to true yoga. Recognition exhilarates but reality should not be lost in it.

Yoga is unification… body and mind of the human as well as that of humanity at large. Unification implies togetherness… not sameness.

While it is alright for others not from our culture, not to know, we should realise that true yoga is not just asana and pranayaama. The acrobatics or postures are just one part of the Ashtanga or the eight parts of yoga, a complete way of living.

Uphold the values and systems. Life becomes beautiful in all its variations and variety. Celebrate it.

God bless us all.

It is a pleasure to listen to a very confident & resurgent Bharath, post 2014, under NaMO/BJP dispensation, and now to our most valued EAM, Shri S Jaishankar, on his clear points of view on Bharath's new geopolitical position on our neibhourhood, Asia, with superpowers & rest of the world. It is heartening to know that, Bharath is carving out our own destiny with our 'Bharath First' policy & not dancing to outside interests, anymore.

I feel we generally don't talk that much about our foreign policy while silently doing what the minister stated. His skills are handling such issues would be great given his experience but silently doing good while also being smart at gains that one gets has been a our policy from a long time back. It has been because foreign policy has never been influenced by politics largely. This has changed, with PM allowing other country leaders to campaign for him and vice versa, and with new stories around modi suggesting reliance and adani for projects makes this way too political. This would cause issues whenever the alliance on the other side changes and deals re-looked at, we would start having such acquisition popping up. We must do what the minister states but smartly and bit silently. Our conflict with china has became a pakistani like problem but much worst it exposes not just one state but entire northern and eastern boarder to conflicts right now at the border but if this spills to internal areas that would effect the security and integrity. India is going down the influence ladder Jaishankar is far too smart to know that, he also knows global impact are produced by economic relationships, India has suffered heavily on that front, he is now a minister who is not there primarily for the foreign relations but more for the showcase for internal audience, it plays along with the narrative of strong India with power and influence being broad casted for many years now.

India and china are philosophically symbiotic. Border issues
are with every country in the world. Even i would be angry with m neighbour encroaching 1 inch into my garden. But we can live peacefully when core philosophies are symbiotic. Middle east and west have philosophical clash with India and china. Best example is recent nupur sharma case where china is for non interference in internal matters. Compare that with west and middle east. India china should team up and change the global monetary system. get back the righteousness. with time india and china will team up and that prediction is due to come true.

Great Town Hall. All congratulations to Cnbc TV 18 and Mr Jacka. But one thing needs to be communicated to the EAM and through him to the current Govt that before the current War our foreign policy was same as today, the govt was the same as today, the EAM was same as today then why suddenly we the Indians are so ga ga about our policies and stands on international matters .This because the Govt has now decided to enunciate our views on such matters,as well as on matters of criticism by foreign countries on our internal affairs, human rights and secularism at much more forthright and vocally. So we Indians are feeling quite happy about it.So we need to continue this to transform us in to a confident country, which the EAM has articulated recently in Europe.

America pick on China today is a well known fact that US thinks China is a threat to their world hegemony. So someday which we believed it will when India is to becoming world Number one power, Do India truly believe America will not counter them as well? QUAD is simply a temporary collection of America pawns organisation to counter China which will be discarded after its usefulness is finish.

The question from the floor regarding Taiwan is irrelevant and yes, is too hypothetical. Why? Because, let's get a fact straight. Taiwan is a part of China and there's only one China, which is the one recognised and accepted by the United Nations. As long as the rest of the world and especially the terrorist state of the US of A do not interfere in the domestic affairs of other sovereign nations by provoking and/or supporting separatist elements to push for independence , everything will continue peacefully as it has been for the last 50+ years.
